Alcohol of choice

Well, if you do be careful. Weirdest drunk I've ever had. I felt nothing. Felt like I was drinking water. Then I stood up and found I had lost all motor functions. Thankfully I fell face-first into my bed.

So yeah, if you try absinthe, be very near a good cushion.

I'm pretty interested in trying absinthe, maybe next time.

Pabst for beer, though it looks like a Russian company might be burying them so I might be switching up to another mainstay for cheap stuff. Always have a case in the fridge. Perhaps I'll go to Coors Original.

I do usually keep some nice IPA's in the fridge to start the night with before switching to the cheap stuff.

Rum and coke for the hard stuff. Can't drink any hard stuff straight without having to sit down for 5-10 minutes and trying not to let it come back out.

Might be different to the stuff I've been drinking http://www.bestabsinthe.com/edouard.htm, I don't know what rocket fuel looks or tastes like but I imagine it would be like what absinthe does. After drinking it I can feel my veins pulsing, but like you say after a few glasses your on the floor. Reason why I said I'm holding off it until the end of the world is that all hell can break loose and I wouldn't know a thing about it, and I wouldn't have to face the hang over the next morning.

It is an acquired taste.

Not much of a drinker myself, though on occasion I enjoy a moscato and other wines. Mead is good too. I haven't really tried anything much else, but I'd like to. Preferably something sweet?

It was Lucid, the first brand available in the US back when the ban was lifted. Never had any after that bottle. Might give it another shot, now that I kind of know what I'm doing alcohol-wise.

When I do drink I prefer Absinthe or Vodka, not at the same time of course. I tried it once and my liver is still holding a grudge. haha

Everyday for the last 10 years I've had a glass of straight Stolichnaya or "Stoli" Vodka in the morning, during every meal, at night, and even when I'm thirsty (actually drinking one now). It is the only thing I ever drank, I've tried other Vodka's and they all taste like dirty fish water. I like a Vodka that burns on the way down and lights your chest on fire, and Stoli delivers in spades. It is however a Russian import, I however currently live in Russia so I have a cabinet full of bottles probably should get some the weekend drained the stores.

But I haven't had a good drink of Absinthe in at least 3 years. Every time I drink some it beats me to the ground, and I don't get hungover but Absinthe will put me down for at least 2 days. The last bottle I tried to buy ran the Russian equivalent of $400. I proceeded to call the man a capitalist and left the store, but we were friends so he didn't mind the joke.

A buddy of mine from Kentucky brought up some this homemade stuff called Apple Pie, damn that was some good stuff. Strong as hell and it tasted exactly like you were eating fresh apple pie. Amazing.

I'm really not that into drinking to where I've tested all sorts of beverages, so just hook me up with a Captain and Cherry Coke and I'll be good.

I've never had any interest in drinking. I've had a drink once, last year I was 24, and on a cruise ship. Family Gathering thing; wasn't the most expensive cruise but it was still pricey. Figured I'd try another thing I'm never going to do so I order a light drink, something fruity; I like fruit so what the heck. They bring me. Oh gosh what was it? I know it was a mixed Rum, but I don't remember the flavor.. However Rum is not a light drink, so needless to say for my first drink I felt lightheaded real fast.

Another reason I don't drink is my family has a long, long line of alcoholics; Aunt, Mom, Cousins, you name it. Pretty much everyone has been addicted to the bottle at one point, and I'd rather not be one of them.

Mostly (Belgian) abbey and trappist beers, and whisky. But when offered, I drink about anything.
