She recently had a triforce ring made by one of those 3D printers, but I'd like to go the extra mile or two.

There are two items I want to get her:

So ladies and gents, what's your opinion on these? Or do you recommend something else?

I considered a ring, but I don't know her ring size. I'm afraid to ask her too, because I am already supposed to know it.

Take a ring out of her jewelery box and take it to any jeweler, they can size it for you. If you do it and put it back the same day, she will never notice it missing.

I have never had a problem asking for a woman's ring size, it is the last question that will piss them off. They figure they are getting jewelery, and will happily answer that question for me. Of course the disappointment comes later when they see how small the diamond is when they use a magnifying glass to see it.....

Does she work in an office? No matter what you do, have a florist deliver flowers to her work. This way she gloat over all the other women in the office because her man bought her flowers and theirs did not. She will get at least a week of gloating out of it. You have never seen a woman truly happy until she has spent the day lording her flowers over all the other women she works with.

I suggest facing the wrath and asking the ring size, atleast its what i would do, more reason to remember it in thw future.

This seems like a much better idea than my idea of chopping off her ring finger and trying to tape it back on later without her noticing.

I mean really asking isn't hard, just add "wanting to double-check to be sure" if you want to play it safe. (Alternatively you could try "well you've gained so much weight lately I just wanted to make sure your fingers didn't get fatter too**)

Go with CCNA's plan of cunningly finding the ring size sounds favourite to me, flowers always go down well as well. She will also love something unique made by a jeweller, most women do!

She has a nightstand drawer with a cluster of crap in it. I want to be as discreet as possible to keep it a surprise. But the lack of jewelery box got me thinking... Get her a jewelery box.

That pretty good idea, something functional is a fantastic gift. Plus a jewelry box says "Theres more to come,"

Though what I'd recommend doing is buying that box and have someone customize the interior so it has more display value with the jewelry and ensures that they aren't just in a pile inside. Plus I'm sure she will appreciate the extra effort.
