I bought Proudspire Manor and am trying to decorate it. However, the living room and the childrens bedroom decorations seem to be bugged, as the gold is being removed from my inventory but the decorations and additions aren't appearing in the house. All others seem to work though. Any known fixes for this? (Hearthfire with 1.9 patch incase it matters)

Can you clear your XBOX 360 cache, and load a save prior furnishing ???

Then try to furnish your home again.

Those two are gitches, than can be fixed either with console commands or the Unofficial Hearthfire patch (PC version)
