simple question


would you be willing to give your own life if you knew it would help improve or save the lives of those around you?


to me I would in a second.. my view on life is, if my existence in some way helped make the lives of another better or easier in any way, my existence had meaning and i would be able to rest in peace....

The people in my immediate radius or if my death will one hundred percent save humanity? If it's the latter, yes. If it's the former, no, they can kiss my advanced life support machined ass.

Sure, my life is pretty insignificant as it is. So sure i'd put the barrel in my mouth.

Depends who it is and depends if they'll know that I died to save them.

Depends on who I'm saving. To save Hitler, probably not, but to save an innocent person (whether it be a single person or a group), probably yes.

This is one of those "Easier said than done" things.

I'd like to sound like a good guy and say yes, but.....

If it was someone worth saving, yup, I would.

Just like I want to win a huge lottery, so I can give it all away, short of buying myself a house on some land.

I've been in one potential situation where this has happened, and yes again.

I think you all are being much more self righteous than realistic. You can say "yeah bro Id give my life in a second!" But in the moment, really? I have a hard time believing that.

I'd sacrifice myself to save my wife; anyone beyond that? Probably not.

To save one person? No, to save hundreds to thousands, perhaps millions of lives.... maybe. Is humanity as a whole worth saving, that is highly debatable.
