Whiterun Hold Redux

Introduction
I've had a few differing ideas of what the Skyrim landscape is supposed to look like when compared to Bethesda's interpretation. From this I decided to take a look at creating an alternative look to the Skyrim landscape than the one given to us by Bethesda. I started in the Hjaalmarch and released the first module of what I'm tentatively calling Different Skyrim: Landscape Redux (DSLR for short). From there I looked at moving east into the Pale, but decided to switch directions into Whiterun Hold. As with the Hjaalmarch Redux I'll release this module in stages as I make progress!
Changes
- Remove Trees - This really bothered me. Whiterun is clearly based on Edoras from LotR and Whiterun Hold looks to be basically based on Rohan as a whole. Its also kind of portrayed as a grassy plains area that's teeming with wildlife. In vanilla Skyrim there's a ton of trees in Whiterun Hold and to me, it looks kinda weird. I have a theory that Bethesda placed so many trees in places where it seems odd because the LOD looks fairly atrocious without them. I'll be working on improving this as part of the mod.
- Remove the giant mountain - Did you ever look at that mountain completely on its own in the middle of Whiterun Hold and wonder, "wtf is this doing here?" My plan is to level the mountain down the level of the rest of Whiterun Hold. The area will then be used for some of the other changes planned in the mod.
- Wild Horses and the Horse Ranch - Whiterun's symbol is the Horse but there's a suspicious absence of horses both wild and tamed in the Hold. I'll be adding a horse ranch as well as a few small herds of wild horses around the hold.
Progress

Suggestions & Questions
Anything you think you'd like to see changed in Whiterun Hold? If you've got a suggestion or a question please ask! I start out with a concept that I have of how I want it to look but sometimes there's things that I don't think of. Hearing your ideas really helps me make the best mod possible, so keep them coming!
