I was doing a quest/mission, in which I ended up with an old guy next to a huge orb. I solved a puzzle using heating/cooling spells to organise some lenses, only his results weren't what he wanted. He told me off, and was a very rude man!

Following this, I completed the Eye of Magnus quest, but I don't feel like the original quest was resolved. It isn't in my journal, but that rude old guy is definitely still out there next to a huge orb that now works correctly?

Can anyone help me resolve this. Did I skip some dialogue that explained the end of this? I can't remember where this other Orb is.
