Three of the best metal albums ever made, great songs ALL the way through - all came out in 1990, written in 1989. I was also born in 1989, coincidence? I think not.

Currently, Kasabian's debut album has seen an awful lot of playing time; of all time, probably Stereolab's "Margerine Eclipse", though that seems slightly random as it's more sort of background music, as is also the case with another played-to-death album of mine, the Cocteau Twins' "Heaven Or Las Vegas". And Ultravox's "Ultravox!", just for being an energetic weirdie that appeared in punk's wake.
