Aspect Ratio!

Truly disappointed to hear that the PC only version will have the option to remove the black borders during gameplay.

Directors vision or not I find the inclusion of two huge black borders of nothingness a big distraction.

I had the same problem with RE4 back in the day, my enjoyment was hindered because I could only see a portion of the screen... with the HD re-release in full screen I actually enjoyed the game a lot more.

If say for example the HUD was within the black borders then that wouldn't be so bad, but from gameplay videos we know it isn't, it is there above your characters head in the action, killing any attempt at a "cinematic" feel because we have floating symbols and numbers on the screen!

I know in the info post made it stated that it's the way the game is supposed to be... but I hardly see cutting off a large portion of the screen beneficial.

All people seem to be concerned about is the frame rate of this game, which to be honest doesn't bother me. What bothers me is not being able to play a good looking game on my huge TV becuase the top and bottom of the screen is cut off!

If the option to remove the black borders is there in the PC version then please Bethesda, patch it to the console versions too, let people play the game they want to play it.

They want a letterbox cinematic feel then so be it, but also let us have the option to play the game in full screen, full clarity.

"with the HD re-release in full screen I actually enjoyed the game a lot more."
That's a beautiful statement because it tells you even the devs knew people didn't like it, so they fixed it. Why not here?
