...have I lost the ability to upgrade Ed-E later in the game?
New playthru I decided to take out the Legion squad in Nipton with an elaborate set of mine fields and a gernade launcher assault. It was epic.
Vilifying my character right at the start.
On my first visit to Gibson salvage on my way to the 188 for the first time I triggered a legion hit squad and they took out Old Lady Gibson before I could deal with them.
I love Ed-E as a companion later in the game but now wonder if I will be able to upgrade him since I can't trigger Ed-E's memory with my chat with old lady Gibson.
I'm not really looking for a detailed "how to" but just a simple yeah your screwed or no there is hope.
