Basically, Grendel's topic got me thinking: What about their infamous description: Their foot long claws that is said to tear right through power armor like a heated cosmic knife through melting butter, but the question is: How? Brute strength and sturdy claws? Are the claws monomolecular and thus able to slice through almost any material on the planet, while at the same time able to reinforce itself continually without losing it's sharpness? Please discuss, my fellow travelers of the Wastes, I'm just curious on everyone's opinion on how they're able to put the "Death" in "Deathclaw".

IIRC: Deathclaw were designed as a genetically engineered against the Chinese, who had their own knockoff of Power Armor, it's not unreasonable to imagine part of their structure design was a tool (claw) that could rip through that armour.
