Severe FPS drop after some playtime

Post » Sat Oct 11, 2014 7:00 am

Im struggling to find the cause for this. My Skyrim is very heavily modded (>500 mods). Im pretty sure its not inis issue and not ENB issue. Also not textures that I optimized them well. It has something to do with mods that filling memory (up to the point where game crashes with BEX error). But even after many hours testing I cant find which ones.

Anyone had similar issue? How to solve it?

Have i5 2500k/16gb/GTX680 2gb/SSD. Game starts fine but after 20 min it becomes stuttering alot.

Right click your computer icon go to properties -> advanced system settings and then under the advanced tab go to system properties.

Once there on the advanced tab under performance, click settings then go to the data execution prevention tab and add Skyrim to the exception list.

For better investigation, you should know your Exception code. !!!

OR

Start -> Search: type cmd. Right click on search results ‘cmd’ and click on "Run as Administrator".

Then write this down:

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff (You should get a successful confirmation)

Reboot...

-----------------

If that not helps you out, start windows in clean boot mode: http://support.turbine.com/link/portal/24001/24001/Article/88/How-do-I-perform-a-Clean-Boot-of-Windows

------------------

Obviously you are using some kind of tool for having 500 mods installed. (and obviously you have merged a lot of Esp's)

If a merge giving you a ctd, it usually means that one or more of the files you have merged doesn't like being merged.

Another possibility is, if you did not check for errors, you may have merged mods with corrupted data. !!!

What mods are you using and the load order if the suggestion that Mark did not give.

you could have a problem with some of your merged or bashed patch.

Remember the game is a 32 bit program so there are limits to what the game engine can handle.

Its already in exception list. My problem is related to mods, not system

You could have merged a plugin, and the iD(s) stored could have been become invalid, resulting that the engine not being able to resolve this.

To check for such an (merging) error(s) use TES5Edit, load the merged file, right click on the plugin after TES5Edit finished loading and click on "Check for errors".

On how to fix it: Consult one of the many TES5Edit guides.
