First of all thank you guys for all of your hekp.. I have started a new game and have had one CTD amd wjem I try to go EAST towards the 7.000 steps, the game stops--I cannot go further. Mow what?

I am assuming whem means when or wham. I don't know why you CTD on a new game, did you clean the dirty dlc's, mod load order with LOOT, use a Bashed Patch, change your ini settings, PC specs? So many questions before anyone can help you.

Thanks: I used LOOT but did not get a report-I think? The ctd was as I was running past a battle-I passed it and down! I do not know how to clean dlcs, change .ini or pc specs. So I do not think it is one of those-but could be. I am not computer savy, so please take that into consideration-Thanks again.

now it is worse-the game will not load at all-after all the work you guys did it still will not work-drat. it gets to the screen where it would say continue etc. and crashes!! sorry

ok I uninstalled 99% of the mods I had and the "can't go any further" stopped. When it tried to load before the screen talked about skyrim redone potion and when I clicked on the ok button--it crashed. is there something wrong with that mod?

are you still using Skyrim redone.

Are you using reproccer if so you will have to rerun that after uninstalling mods since the reproccer is likely missing at least one master.

Also if uninstalling mods you likely will need to start with a new character or go back to an old game save before those mods were installed.

As I uninstalled everything I do not have a mod order. also I just watched Gopher's skre video and I am totally lost--does all of that have to be done?

They are some specific steps you should follow to install SkyRe, and some specific files you must install to run it without problems.

SkyRe can be tricky to install and get running since it makes a lot of changes.

If using armor and weapon mods and a few other mods then you need to at least run reproccer plugin to make those mods items compatible with SkyRe or at least quite close to it. There are also some compatibility patches if reproccer does not get correct

also you likely will want skyrim skill uncapper since perks can go over 100 and skill uncapper makes it possible and SkyRe has an ini setting that is designed for SkyRe.

Like Mark has posted reading up on the mods and what they do and how to install them are important.
