So for the past few weeks my vehicle has been doing this thing where the engine will bog down when I am just sitting in idle, it got to the point where the engine would actually shut off if I wasn't pressing on the gas pedal. While driving I had no problems, no loss of power, no surging, nothing so I figured it must be the fuel filter. If a filter is clogged it can cause the same exact symptoms as I was experiencing. About a week ago I was on my way to work and my car died while I was driving power turned off and the engine stopped. I pulled over to the side and attempted to start it again. It wouldn't start unless I was giving it gas, and even then it sounded weird then died right away. I got it to start one time but as soon as I put it into drive it died again. I replaced the fuel filter and it did not fix my issue at all, the car wont even start, it cranks but wont start. I am guessing it is my Fuel Pump, but I really don't want it to be that. Anyone have any advice on other things for me to look for or listen for to confirm that it is in fact my fuel pump?

The same happened to me, a while ago. But, it was the Fuel pump. !!! lol
