I'm now at the part where I need to do 25 strikes for Bad Juju. Probably the most time consuming part of the whole thing. Oh well. 25 Vanguard Tiger Strikes will likely get me some good stuff. Still, I hear Bad Juju svcks. Will have to wait for Bungie to buff it.

I still have yet to get anything great. I'm not playing constantly but once a week or so. I got enough marks to get some legendary chest armor but need more reputation. I managed to get a legendary weapon from an engram and that's neat..I have yet to find out how to get exotic stuff. I am also slowly moving up the light level ladder, 24 currently.

Well, Tiger Strikes/Weekly Strikes/Nightfall Strike/Raids/Crucible can potentially give you exotics. If you have around 13 to 25 Strange Coins, you can buy an exotic from Xur who arrives Friday and leaves Sunday. For 25 Motes of Light you can also get a random exotic engram from him (but it can be for a different class).

Any good spots to farm Helium Filaments?

The first part of the moon, "Archers Line". Do a big ol' circle around the area. Some will be on the ground, in chests, and on occasion on the rails.

I haven't done a proper study or anythimg, but it seemed like if I killed all the enemies I saw while doing the moon loop then the helium would spawn with greater frequency. That is just anecdotal though, for all I know that theory could be complete nonsense.
