That moment when you add a trophy room...

And realize you have issues with half the options.

A draugr trophy? I'm not gonna disrespect my ancestors.

Falmer? That would be insulting that nice Gelebor guy's ancestors.

Dragon skull? Makes me remember Numinex, the dragon that was kept captive until he lost his mind.

What Miraak did wasn't cool either.

Hagraven? Illia is around and that would bring back bad memories.

Animals? That's boring, my house is full of those already.

You know what, I'm sticking to Dwarven machines.

lol, you've put a lot of thought in to this.

Yes, lets do Dwemer machines, they're more decorative. :)

Actually, you've just made me realise that I haven't put mounted animals/heads in most of my characters' Hearthfires houses, and I've never built a trophy room with any of them.

What I would have liked is an option to have the Dragon Priest masks on display in my home, instead of in another place and another time.

But Dwemer Machines are so "last era!"

Funny, I just finished my trophy room and placed "monsters" on the pedestals. A Dragon Skull, a Hagraven, a Draugr, a Spriggan, and the 2 Dwemer machines. All of these "mountings" tried to kill me. I have no trouble placing them on display :)

I think the Hagraven looks cool though. I once decorated my trophy room with nothing but cows, goats and mudcrabs. I should have added a horker. It was my "Wimp Gallery," and I liked it.

I only build the trophy room once, and if memory serves me, it was mostly filled with wildlife ... bears, wolves, saber cat, and slaughter fish, etc.

I don't have this DLC yet but from what google has been able to tell me the wild life ones seem to be the coolest IMO. Especially the Slaughterfish. It looks better than the trophy room in battlehorn castle, actually scratch that, the battlehorn castle room was pretty sick, it looks like you have more options though.
