So like many of you on here I have Restartitus. I have started numerous new characters taken them through 15-25 levels and then dumped them to start yet another new one. Of course a year or so ago I did take 2 or 3 characters all the way - up past level 50. Well today it dawned on me why I have Restartitus now. I've been PLAYING AGAINST my nature....or rather my nature in regards to Skyrim. For me certain options in Skyrim seem to FIT me and the game better and if I deviate too much from this formula I will ultimately dump the character "early". Here are the basics for me:
1) Race - Nord - the devs OBVIOUSLY want you to be a Nord! "Skyrim belongs to the Nords!"
2) Stealth Thief/Rogue - Sneaking is SOOOOO MUCH FUN in Skyrim and a great way to survive early on! So specializing in Light Armor helps...a LOT. I tend to choose Light anyway as I still think dragonscale looks the best of all the non mod armors in the game.
3) Blacksmith+ Enchanting - how else will you get the best looking (and most effective with proper enchants) sword in the game? I'm talking about the DragonBone GreatSword.
4) Archery - taking out large groups from distance is sooooooo much fun I cant resist! Combined with stealth this is the killer combo for me.
So that's the cure for me. Basically it's Conan minus his distrust of sorcery and adding in some reliance on archery.
What's your cure?
The cure we REALLY need is a new single player Elder Scrolls game!
