What would you rather have from Molag Bal?

Post » Thu Oct 16, 2014 11:25 pm

What kind of reward is the Mace of Molag Bal?

do you consider it to be a greater reward than Molag Bal turning someone into a Pure Blood vampire or a Daughter of Cold Harbor or is the Mace an equal gift to that?

I feel its okay if you're already a Vampire Lord but as far as role playing goes and if Skyrim was real, I'd ask to be a Pure Blood instead of accepting the Mace. If the Daedric Lord would allow it.

Well if TES was our world, screw you Daedric Prince, Divines and etc. The All-Maker is the only real God you pagans scum!!

back to the topic I don't know, I think being a pureblood Vampire Blood is well awesome. But I would refuse any gift he offers me.

Umm, no thanks, considering what one goes through to become a daughter of Cold harbor.

But the mace is so cool.

And besides I think Molag Baal would only do that kind of stuff for you if he had some benefit, or if he saw some way to [censored] you over with it. Cause you know, he likes to mess with people.

Besides the mace is classic and goes along with all the other artifacts. Besides if they changed it that would svck, I already think it was weird how they brought the Ebony mail back into the picture, and it was a completely different Ebony mail than the one I remembered from Morrowind, where it had a totally different set of abilities and benefits. It was still cool seeing it again though.

The mace is lame, but so is the quest. So I guess it's a good fit. I don't see Molag Bal giving out Vamp Lord powers for beating a guy with a mace, since being one is so revered.

I agree, according to Lord Harkon he had to sacrifice a thousand innocents before Molaf Bal would turn him.

I enjoyed the quest, besides the mace looks really good, put it on display in your house.

I wonder why the guards freak out when they see the mace?

Is it enchanted to make people fear you as if you were Molag Bal himself?

The Mace is part of Molag isn't it?

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mace_of_Molag_Bal and backstory.

Nords don't care much for daedra worship IIRC, so that could be yet another reason.

I don't really know how daedric artifacts work, but the Daedric Princes give you the same item over and over so there is probably some explanation.

Seems he only gives it to you just for personally murdering some one he is desperately and personally having trouble with someone.

I see that there is a connection. For murdering someone for him, he gives you his Mace. Murder a thousand people or if you're a pretty woman and offer to let him take advantage of you and I guess you become either a pure blood vampire or a Daughter of Cold Harbor.

Well it also says that when he tried the whole planemeld thing, he wielded it himself. And it's older that the characters you ever played as, who knows what it's been used for.
