i am on chapter 3 and its really hard on normal but i am gonna complet it. its strange that you cant do any thing when you try to shoot them in the head the bullet goes away like you not hit them when you aim at the headis it that some of them have armor there???? and also i did think that this game was scary but it is not scary at all like other horror games

I am stuck at the Chainsaw guy in Chap 3...

How the heck do you kill him? I've tried abotu every tip i can find on google, etc.. but that effer wont die.. (Casual)

Tried probably 20 times so far..Too frustarting to play...

What i thought for sure would have killed him is this..

After he breaks out.. I hit him with 2 grenades.. Then i shot him with a Flas Bolt.. Ran behind him and shot him point blank in back of head with shot gun.. He just turned and chopped me.. So i ran around to get a lead on him.. Shot him with a Expl bolt.. then climbed up ladder.. Shot him with 2 more explosive bolts as he climbing..

Then when he on balcony i got him to go thru the Prox trap on the wall.. while he was stunned from that i shot him with 3 handgun shots.. Tehn he charged me and i hit him with flash bolt again and a couple shotgun shots up close while he was stunned.. but he just turned and sawed me in half....

Eff this stupid game.. it's waaay to freakin difficult to be fun.... Could have bee soo awesome..

Use traps to your advantage. There is a way to OHK him without firing a shot, or so I've read from someone elses post somewhere. Worth looking into.

I gave you some advice in another thread where you commented about the difficulty.

For that specific situation that you're talking about... you know where the guy is... make him the last thing you try to kill on this level.

If you explore the area you'll find a number of weapons that are very useful. Because he's in a multi-levelled environment, what about tossing a couple of grenades at him while he's still chained up?

He's going to have to climb a ladder to get to you and while he does that he's probably a pretty stationary target for your Agony Crossbow or a Shotgun.

Just don't do what I did...

Get really close above him, throw the grenade... and have it hit the scenery, landing at my own feet and blowing myself up so that I had only a fingernail's worth of health left.

I've blown myself to bits a few times.. Tried bombing him while chained.. I already killed all the other zomvies in th earea.. And i defused all the traps except for the prox one by steps on the balcony above boss.. I saved after that.. But like in my other reply here.. I have stunned him with bottle.. fls bolts, etc.. and when stunned. i lay into him with pistol , shotgun, exp bolts... be just turns and chops me in half.... So at this point.. All other zombies dead.. Almost all traps defused... except for mentioned ..

i have 2 grenades. 3 exp bolts. 2 flash bolts. 2 harpoons, 6 pistol shots and 5 shotgun shots.. and full heath besause i just used the med kit.. I hit him wil all that and the effer wont die...

I tried pumping him full of lead while he on ladder.. nothing... what the heck? I've tried it probably 20 times now... Sick of it.. beyond frustrating...

This has soo much potential but it going for the record as the most frustating game ive ever played..... Why wont he die???

You need to aim very well. To hit the enemy, the extremely small dot at the center of the aim has to be in the enemy position. The guns have recoil, so if you are far from the enemy, it will be hard to hit them. The game is not really hard on casual. You must be playing it the wrong way. Check caddahaulic post "Too Difficult" I posted some tips... follow them and the casual dificulty will be very easy.

A couple suggestions...

2) Take full advantage of the traps to build new Agony Crossbow bolts.

3) You can push the hay barrels around and set them on fire. Very useful against Mr. Chainsaw.

4) Take full advantage of green gel upgrades before fighting the boss.

How come that some you cant shoot in the head ? And how do you move aroud the hay? And also why is it some of them you cant kill them while they are down. I have sean some that is lying down when i am close they stand upp

It is obviously a trick to force you upgrading your accuracy....you are not missing, it is intended! As for lying enemies a think it was well known from the begining that firing up lying enemies is an IMPORTANT part of the game. If you don't have matches well....that's a problem)))))

yes that is true that you need to burn them but what about those you meet and have not killed? And its a fun game too but hard on normal i think

snake, do not burn dead enemies. That will waste matches. use matches only for when you need to kill more than one enemy at a time. Not really that hard, you just need to avoid wasting resources at all times.
