Hey everybody, Im the Ranger sort that lives off the land and and uses the materials I gather from the wild to produce the things I need (Hunterborn) and anything that I cant get from the wilds I sell objects of worth, such as pelts and valued alchemy items to get the coin I need to trade.
I noticed that Requiem has a crafting function that allows you to make elemental arrows with fire,frost,void, salts. While on the other hand when I go to make poisons with my portable mort and pestle I can only apply poisons one at a time to my bow and every time I shoot an arrow I have to apply a new poison. Also worthy of note is that I havent to date seen an elemental effect in any of the poison items. I see elemental resistance and weakness stuff, but never any actual fire,frost,shock, damage poison options...
What I was thinking about was a mod where poisons arent simply a vial that applies to a single effect, but rather a volume based asset. Can you imagine making a bunch of poisons from the same materials with the same effect and filling a flask with poison? Then dolling that poison out on arrows that will hold that value like an enchantment?
I could see to an effect like each batch of poison has a volume based on the weight of the ingredients used in order to determine the number of arrows that can be made, and maybe something like distilling the poison would allow you to concentrate the poisons damage, while reducing the number of arrows you can apply it to.
I know that level of detail is probably impossible or at the least very hard to develop but anything in the area of that effect would to me be something special.
If there is anything out there presently that enhances poisoning in any way, I would be grateful to hear about it.
