Problems with creating a world space

Hi all, hope I could get some advice here. I have created a new world space but there are two issues.

1. When underwater in my space, I can swim underneath individual cells. There are massive gaps between each one but the ground was flat in the ck so I don't know why. I used the landscape tool to pull up bits of land out of the sea and left the rest as it was.

2. In Skyrim I can see vast landscapes. In my world space I can see vast sky but the sea just cuts off. I tried putting a mountain in the distance but I can only see it if I stand right on the edge of my space, then as I walk back it fades off into nothing. The mountain is only about a cell away.

3. I tried to use other settings in the worldspace tab but my kit keeps crashing. It crashes periodically in general (every 15mins or so or something when ebing idle) but this is ok as I save my work a lot. It's just that some features just will not work at all and just crash so I don't even know if I can make a proper worldspace. :(

Is there a more recent version I should be using? I downloaded it a few months ago from Steam.

Advice would be much appreciated! :)
