So after creating a character with the specific purpose of obtaining Daedric Armor through the Atronach Forge and leveling manually long enough to finally get some ebony armor (only boots and gloves right now) the game is giving me the middle finger!

I put the ebony boots in the forge (along with the proper ingredients) and pull the switch. The Daedric Boots appear in the circle and i pick them up. There are not in my inventory. I have tried reloading the autosave but it doesnt change anything. The gauntlets appear in my gear just fine but the boots just vanish...any ideas?

If I remember correctly, the Daedric boots from the Atronach Forge are bugged. you can pick them up, but they won't appear in the inventory and contribute to your weight. You can still make the other items just fine though.

Sigh...Bethesda...the Atronach Forge is part of the Vanilla game! There is no excuse for these kinds of issues being ignored this long after the game came out and was "completed". I mean i know that there is a big list of unfinished stuff from launch but this is very close to game-breaking since it takes so many rare resources to make this armor with the AF and then it just takes it away. This shouldve been resolved before Dawnguard ever even came out but now years later when Bethesda has moved on and we still have this blasphemy

Daedric Boots conjured by the Atronach Forge do not appear in the inventory. That is because the Daedric Boots are the Dremora-specific Boots and cannot be seen or used.

Conjure a randomly enchanted Daedric Armor piece using the Atronach Forge.

This can be exploited by saving before pulling the lever and reloading the game if the obtained item is not Daedric Boots. However, Daedric Boots obtained in this way cannot be enchanted.
