today while playing fallout nv i've noticed that sometimes i think that veronica is a long distance decendent of (skyrim's) lydia.

sometimes blocking doorways or running into me and scaring me.

It's the Follow AI packages, they probably haven't changed all that much in 10 years.

Yeah, pretty sure all companion NPCs behave exactly the same way across Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim.

she's the first companion you get in elder scrolls skyrim.

Wasn't my companion, I left her ass back in Whiterun for the rest of the game from the time I got her. Skyrim's followers were crap.

the lydia i had was pretty good with great swords, plus she was a good pack mule.

Aww I love Lydia. her quirks are what make her adorable.

I have yet to use Veronica. But Cass does the same things. Nice thing is with Fallout you can tell a companion to back up, or follow you further back or closer. unlike Skyrim.
