I dont like how both of the imperial and stormclaok missions ended. YOU the dragonborn just thrown away never used again.

the SCs are technically not a true Military body, they are a group of people fighting in order to secede from Imperial rule (think American or French Revolution) so it makes sense, after their victory many of them would just go their separate ways

in the case of the Empire, you are more of a Reservist or part of the Local militia loyal to the Empire than you are a full legionnaire.. as such, it makes sense they let you go after peace is restored until they need to call upon you to serve your oath..



Remember, the focus of the game was not the war itself

Most the SC soldiers were soldiers, they may not have been an official army, but they had fought in the Thalmor War and many were guardsmen.

But as either story ended with total conquest, then it makes sense to not need you again, as their garrisons can do the rest of the job from here on out.

I know I totally agree! and I also hate how when your in a bunch of holds every treats you terribly like hey you look sick or I cant imagine being that ugly (I've never had someone in skyrim say that to me though but I've heard about it happening) The least they could do is make you steward! and when your in the dark brother hood or thief's guild there practically saying keep working I'll just stay here and warm my feet by the fire why'll you risqué your life! I know there NPC's and they cant do much but still I wish they didn't make them so rude
