I am new to the forums, and i just want to say thanks in advance if anyone chooses to help me solve my problem, this is a lot coming from me knowing that i rarely ever ask others for help. That is all.

Okay Now the topic: When i try to load a previous save in Fallout: New Vegas It loads but it loads a completely new game outside of doc mitchells house. If i was in any other position i would just start a new game but i have logged 155+ Hours into this game and my character and do not intend to lose him. Previously it told me the save relies on unavailable content, but i've sinced fixed that problem but a new game still loads.

It means that your original save has become corrupted, you'll have no choice but to start again. Unless of course you have another save before that one. You need to make a number of extra saves rather than just relying on the auto-save or quick save. They can become become corrupted after repeated use. One option is to use a mod like CASM (Cipcis' Auto Save Manager) that will create a series of game saves after a certain time interval.
