There is sale going on in a computer store near my place where the Zotac GTX 780ti is on sale ranging from $389-449 depending on whether I get the normal, OC or AMP edition. The Zotac GTX 970 which isn't on sale is going for $379-469 depending on whether I go for normal, Omega or Extreme.

Because the GPUs are around the same price and offer similar performance with the 780ti slightly better in some games while the 970 is slightly better in others, I would like to know which one would you fellows recommend. My instincts tell me the 780ti but then I've heard about the efficiency of the Maxwell GPUS and then there is the fact that it has more VRAM.

As I mentioned before in my other GPU threads. I'm playing a heavily mod Skyrim with textures generally around 2-4k and maybe the added possibility of ENB mods.

Oh and my processor is an Intel Core i7 4790k no OC. Also not sure if a 600w power supply would be sufficient for either GPUs.
