ever noticed how all these vendors usually have more guns for sale than ammo

take by example the gunrunners a whole assortment of assault rifles and other guns but they only sell 5 pieces of 5.56 ammo and only every 3 or 4 days , what are we suppose to do with those guns ? throw them or use vile language

and did you noticed that once you start using a type of gun , be it a shotgun a cowboy repeater or anything else the ammo for that gun suddenly becomes scare or very rare , and making your own ammo is usually not enough to compensate for the ammo consumption

Try the NCR quartermaster or the Great Khans armourer for ammo.

They sell it by the truckload.

a vendor might have several weapons all using the same ammo but not even enough ammo to fill up one magazine
