Hi, might seem a silly question but how do I use scrolls? I play on XBox.

I have tried equipping them and using the trigger and my character's hands get a glow about them and then nothing.

I tried holding both triggers for a couple of seconds but again just glowing hands and nothing, the scroll is still in my inventory.

I tried using the bumper button but nothing happens.

One of my characters has a collection of over 50 scrolls that are just gathering dust in a chest in Breezehome.

Any help would be welcomed as I have just started a new character and plan on using mainly illusion and sneak and am hoping that scrolls will help at the beginning.

It depends on the scroll. If it is a really powerful spell like Mass Paralysis or Dead Thrall you have to charge it up in both hands for a while just like the actual spell. Even some 1-hand spells require a bit of charging

They should all cast just like the spell of the same name does. The only difference is that you're equiping a scroll instead of the spell and the scroll will disapear after it's used.
