I've always lamented the problem that some lighting mods cause with torches - the fact that certain textures either can't be lit by them or are only lit at certain viewing angles, resulting in lighting pop-in when you're moving around a city or town at night. I recently scrapped ELFX because of this problem, but have found that a few city and town mods cause the same problems to a lesser degree.
I'm assuming this is because the city mods in question also add the same kind of dynamic lights that hit Skryim's apparently "hard-coded" upper limit?
My question, really, is whether or not that is the only cause of this problem, and if so, if it would be possible to eliminate the issue by manually removing instances of a particular kind of light from these mods in the CK or TES5Edit.
