Hello,

I’m trying to make changes to an existing house mod. I have permission from the original author of the house to make said changes. I’m a bit new to creation kit.

I made a copy of the existing house by duplicating the cell, renaming that particular cell, than making changes to it, then deleted the original cell in the cell view page. I uploaded it to the steam workshop but I can’t enter the house. It appears that even though I duplicated the cell that its trying to use the original cell to generate the enter the house.

Given that I’ve taken a number of steps and any one of them could have been wrong, maybe it’s easiest to start over. How does one download a user created house then make changes to it and upload it as a new steam workshop entry to share with my friend (who is the original creator)?
