So this year they are apparently doing the game awards a little different, without the involvement of Spike. Hopefully it is better than the [censored] show I subjected myself to last year...

I personally didn't think this year was that great of a year in gaming and out of the games I played I would award Forza Horizon 2 game of the year.

Here are the nominations for anyone interested.

I'm glad these type of award ceremonies exist for gaming, because the games deserve the recognition and hype, but it's pretty much just fanfare.

I don't care what wins, but it's nice to see some of my favourites being nominated.

I've been gaming since 1985 and I've never thought that.
Every year has consistently been an advancement in gaming. I might not have any interest in all the games, but the industry as a whole is always making great progress.

I've never been a fan of popularity contests. But if these things help sell a few copies for games I respect, then I guess I don't object.

My favorite so far is Shadow Of Mordor.
