What is the strangest game you have ever played (or seen someone play first hand? youtube videos don't count)?


today, I was reading up on the news when my Phone rang.. i picked it up and it was a guy i used to work with.. he says "hey man, you still got a PS1, right?", I said "sure, Its in a box somewhere.. why?"
he then said "I'll be over there in an hour" and hung up.
he shows up and says "you dig out that PS1?" to which I said "I never said I was going to, whats going on?"

he then told me he found this game in a pawnshop downtown, he said the game was called "LSD Dream Emulator" and that it was not released outside Japan, and I was the only person he knew with a PS1 who was not at work (this was just shortly after 1pm)..

My response was "wth kinda name is that? look, if you wanna play it so bad, you go dig out my PS1, should be in a box in the hall closet, one with all the wires"

so I let him hook it up in the Living room, come into take a look and.. it is by far, one of the Strangest games I have ever seen.. I literally can't even describe how weird it was.. there were random faces, and flying fish.. it was by far, the weirdest game I have ever seen in my life..



so, what is the strangest game you have ever played, or seen a friend play?

Mr. Mosquito is one of the weirdest-but fun games I've played.

As for others. I've seen my younger cousin play COD for 16 hours straight on a beautiful summer day. That was strange.

I had to search that game, and I used to play it when I was a kid! Yea that is one weird and odd game.

Nothing can stop Mr. Domino, LDS Simulator, Seaman.

Hmm, can't think of more, but I am certain I played so many odd game.

30 years on, still can't quite get my head around Jet Set Willy.

Weirdest game I played was called nonesense 2000 or something like that it was a weird game.

Seaman is the immediate one that comes to mind.

Hmm. Katamari Damacy was certainly pretty odd. The Shadow Hearts series, while not always bizarre, did get quite strange in places (...the Man Festival )

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other wierd stuff from the PS1 era, too.
