[WIP] No N'wah Allowed - a gameplay plugin series

Post » Fri Nov 21, 2014 8:53 pm

So, I've been working on this a little now, here's what I made:

1. No N'wah Allowed - AI

- Decreased the cooldown between enemy attacks, both creatures and NPC, making them much more dangerous, especially the ones with enchanted weapons.

- Decreased the minimum combat distance

2. No N'wah Allowed - Beverages

- All local beverages now permanently damage your stats. Visit your local healer!

- Same goes for Skooma.

- [?] Flin and Cyro Brandy now damage you stats as well, but only a little.

3. No N'Wah Allowed - Corprus - Not finished yet!

- Corprus disease now progresses much faster, in 5 pts. increments instead of 1 pt.

- Stat decrease is not longer curable, except when you get cured from Corprus altogether.

- Stat decrease/increase in now capped at 100 pts.

- [?] On the latter stages of Corprus, you gain constant health regeneration.

- [?] On the latter stages of Corprus, corprus meat chunks are added to your inventory on daily basis.

4. No N'wah Allowed - Shrines and Blessings

- All blessings' power increased (most of changes were taken from Logorouge's http://mw.modhistory.com/download-44-14147 mod)

- All blessings now last 2880 seconds.

- You can only have one blessing at time.

- Added Divine Blessings to Imperial Cult altars - respective effects were taken from Oblivion.

- Added Tribunal altars to all the Temples.

- Removed Almsivi Restoration from St. Veloth's Altars - they can be found in most of ancestral tombs and I didn't like the fact that you can just donate some money and get rid of ghost and bonewalker's curses right there.

- [?] You can receive a blessing from any daedric statue after completing the quest of the respective Daedric Prince.

Features marked [?] are not implemented yet as I have some doubts about them.

Further plans:

- Fatigue rebalance

- Swimming rebalance

Upon reading this, my mouthful of tea almost ended up on my monitor screen. Brilliant. :D The other changes sound interesting too...

Interesting set of changes. Just like Loopy, the corprus changes caught my eye. Those will add some actual gameplay impact to the disease, as opposed to being mostly a story element in vanilla (at least before being cured). I like it. :)

What about a small chance of dropping a chunk (PlaceAtPC), I can imagine all the irate shopkeepers now...

I don't think cluttering the world like that is a good idea, I better stick to the inventory variant. And, why didn't I think of this before, add a chance to get Corprus Weepings instead of Corprus Meat. At least those you can use to make potions.
