Hello everyone...I bought one of those Amiibo figures that you play with certain Wii U games (Mario Cart 8 and Super Smash Bros.) and was wandering if anyone else stated collecting them.

If anyone's wandering how they work they're suppose to enhance some of the games like Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. In Smash Bros. You train them and level them up then you can either fight them or have them fight for you and if you level them up high enough they can kick some serious butt. The figures themselves make for a nice collectible too.

I have link also. Its like level 40 or 45. I kinda cheated to raise its level. I made him play 7 level 9 cpu's in 8 player smash to level him up fast.

Can't play with them online, I don't think

I may go to the store and get some paint and change up his outfit

I don't really call that cheating more like quick leveling, I don't think there's a wrong way to use these figures. I had it on the 3DS but didn't like the controls and it was hard to see your character so I took it back to the store and got a different game. However I've been looking at the Wii U version and I might get that instead. In the mean time I'm playing Smash Bros. Brawl in the mean time.

I think I'm going to by the Link Amiibo just for collectors sake.

Keep your eye open for the duel arm canon Samus, Manufacturer's error has made those collectible, plus they're cool looking too.
