So I was just wondering if anyone else has issues leaving the presidential suite of the Lucky 38 after a certain point in the game? I stored all my stuff in there that I wouldn't be able to take in to any of the other casinos, to make it easier for myself, and eventually went back to pick it up. However when I went to leave the suite I wasn't able to talk to Victor or access the elevator. In the end I had to load up a older save that didn't have any of the New Vegas missions finished/started yet.....

did you by chance kill or disable Mr. House? if so victor seems to become unresponsive and you need to select the actual Elevator instead of trying to talk to victor

This question leads me to think you have the exact problem I do. I played completely through the game and never used lucky 38. I stayed with Easy Pete for the whole game. This time round I decided to use 38 as I was taking more of a look around the wasteland. I started bringing stuff there that I collected before getting to the strip. One load and all was well. On the second load, when I got up to the suite I couldn't talk to Victor anymore.

I reloaded the previous where I brought the first load in and he was working. I exited the casino and came back in, no problems. I tried with and without the companions with me. No problems. So I go back and get the other stuff again and come back.. go upstairs and click on Victor and again.. nothing.

Something in the inventory is causing this. I don't know what yet, but will probably check it out by loading up smaller loads till I find out exactly what it is. Probably one of the unique armors I have collected or something like that.


Since you said you were storing stuff up there when it happened, I think we are in the same boat.
