I just started watching this the other night.

Its about a virus that turns people into vampires and kind of reminds me of the Dawnguard dlc. Yes, it involves a vampire wanting to rule over humans by using his blood as a lethal pathogen. Also sort of reminds me of something out of Blade 2 and Resident Evil.

So is anyone watching this?

Well, it was created by Guillermo del Toro, who directed Blade 2, so that's why there's a connection there lol. But I've enjoyed it so far, didn't quite live up to my expectations, but it certainly isn't bad. Took a bit to get going, after the pilot episode, but glad I stuck with it. Especially after reading some hints about what will be coming in the next seasons.

I watched the first season, it was pretty decent. I really like the Ukranian guy and the old guy. Also like the special effects except for the Master.

Pretty much this. I enjoyed the first Season and I'm looking forward to the s second.
