Okay while looking on the PS Store I came across one of my favorite flight games, Tom Clancy's HAWX---just kidding----Ace Combat Infinity. Anyway from what I've seen it takes elements from previous Ace Combat games and mixes it up a little and it's free to download.....BUT----there's a catch----apparently it's not all free as you need to buy "fuel" to play the main campaign but you can buy a free fuel ticket that basically unlocks free play for the single player mission which is only 8 missions (but I've read that Namco will release more as they go).
Now I'm not sure what to think of this selling tactic, make a game that's free (that's not an MMO) but limit the stuff in it unless the player pays up. Now AC:Infinity is not an MMO it's like anyother Ace Combat game only it's being treated like one and I'm not sure I like this idea, I mean the looks great and I don't mind paying for DLC's but I would rather buy the full game and buy DLC's if I want them....again I'm not sure what Namco's marketing ploy is on this other then grabbing money from players.
