I've heard of the series of mods that restore the cut content to New Vegas; what I wanted to check is whether there are any reported issues with these. The only other mod I'd be running would be J E Sawyer's. Also, I believe some of the earlier mods have been incorporated into the later ones, so a complete list of the mods available would be great.

Are you referring to the New Vegas Uncut and Freeside Open mods? If so, they add quite a bit of really nice cut content back into the game but do have lots of performance issues. Expect lots of stuttering and hitching, sluggish frame rates, companions running around crazily and crashing* whenever you're in Freeside. This happens because the mod merges all of the exterior Freeside cells (Freeside exterior, Freeside interior and Old Mormon Fort) into a single cell, plus it adds a number of new NPCs.

* - I solved the crashing problem on my system by using NVAC - if you're not using it already, I'd highly recommend you do, especially if you want to give these mods a try. The other stuff I mentioned still exists, though; I just deal with it.
