Is installing Ethereal Elven Overhaul a good idea?

Surprisingly enough, after years of playing Skyrim with mods, I only recently found out about the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24273/?; during my Wood Elf playthrough too. I really, really like the cosmetic changes the mod makes to the elves. Normally, the mod would have already been in my load order, but after doing some research, I've gotten skeptical. There are a few problems that users have reported.

First of all, the author of the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28363/? mod stated incompatibility issues with Ethereal Elven Overhaul, and neither modders have made patches for it. If it's only minor clipping, then I think I can tolerate it. Anything worse than that is pretty much a dealbreaker.

Users have also reported terrible neck seams as well as gigantic heads. I'm well aware of the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46067/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D46067&pUp=1, but most of them are slightly outdated. Luckily though, I don't use Enhanced Character Edit, which seems to be the source of a lot of users' problems.

What do you guys think? Is this worth the download?

I definitely think so. I forgot to install it once and was surprised how much better Elves look with it. I haven't had any issues with my rather huge mod list, but I guess there might be a couple of mods that it has issues with (I've never used Beards, for example). It DOES need some attention when using lots of mods as you'll need a bunch of patches.

So I'm guessing that the patches I provided in the OP is still valid and useable, despite being outdated?
