Master Enchant trainer

Post » Tue Dec 09, 2014 7:40 am

Hi - I hope someone can help me on this, but I am keen to find the master enchant trainer. The Official Guide book says he is Qorwynn near the exit from Indoranyon - but this doesn't seem to be correct. I've found this guy, and talked to him till I'm blue in the face with my 100 speechcraft etc. and no joy. Does anyone know where I can get some serious Enchant training?

OK, did he attack you on sight? That is the right person. It also does not matter what your Speechcraft is, you have to get his disposition up to 100, not 99, not 98, 100. Bribes are about the only way. You have to use Charm or Telvanni Bug Musk (there is one in a container back in the dungeon) to get him to talk to you in the first place so you can bribe him up to 100. You can only do this during the spell or potions effect, so bring enough gold.

Note, once you have him at 100, then he will stay that way if you come back later. Less than 100, he will go hostile to you at some point.

Also if you approach him while invisible he may give you the correct dialog box. This may be dependent on the unofficial patch or the code patch but it worked for me.

I'd recommend casting calm on him, and then using speechcraft with admire/bribes (don't intimidate or taunt) to get his disposition to 100. Then you will be able to approach him at any time and get training. Just don't draw your weapon and talk to him, since that would lower his disposition and he would attack you again.

If you use charm spells or bug musk, then you will need to use those same methods every time you approach him. If you calm him and then use speechcraft to raise disposition to 100, he will forever remain friendly, as long as you don't draw your weapon.
