Has anyone made or know of a mod that limits how much you can carry while swimming. Have always had a hard believing that I could just plunge into deep water with 300 lbs on my back, I don't think I could swim while wearing a full set of plate or steel or even iron armor. An immersive mod that would make the Char to remove his armor in order to swim, for the hard core mod he/she would have to wear some sort of protection (say tusker skin suit) to swim in the frosty waters of skyrim.

There are (or were last time I looked ) realistic Swimming and Carry Weight mods on the Nexus.

The swimming one does not specifically change the max carried weight while swimming, but does affect Swim Speed.

Armour etc DOES affect how well you can swim and makes currents have a stronger effect etc.

I am not sure if it is possible to alter Max Carried Weight without scripts, but max speed of different movement types can be changed in the CK quite easily.
