I am experiencing a huge and extremly annoying problem. When i try to load the dawnguard.esm files basically what happends is what the title to this post says. When the loading gets to around 50% the creation kit starts to not respond and shortly after it simply crashes. Happends every time with dawnguard. I have loaded skyrim.esm and several plugin files succesfully but dawnguard. Nope. Does anyone know why this is happening?

to load dawnguard you need to edit the SkyrimEditor.ini.

Add the line

bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1

to the [General] section

and also edit the line in the [Archive] section

SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa

to

SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa

also add , HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa if you want to mod those
