Okay, I thought I had my copy of Morrowind up and running, but when I tried to make a new character, I couldn't take screenshots (error message was "Screenshot failed - surface error". I remember a "Failed to create image surface" from my pre-MGSO/MGE days, when that was Morrowind's way of telling me I'd taken so many damn screenshots the hard drive was running out of space, but that is definitely not the case here).

I thought "I guess I should probably re-generate distant land, since I have all my mods activated", but I get a massive 'Unhandled Exception' error:

What is the "Collection has been modified" error? Is that because I cleaned some of my mods with TEStool? (Not the Bethesda ones, obviously.) If I try to run Morrowind without letting distant land generate, I get 'Serious Graphical Error' and nothing at all renders in-game (even when I'm indoors).

I hope someone can explain to me what's going on here. I know just enough about programming to recognise that I have no idea what any of this means.

If the forums here are more active than the Mod-Morrowind forum at UESP, I may have some other questions too, but we'll worry about one thing at a time, yeah?
