So i spent a little bit of time thinking about this and here's what i came up with please tell me what you think.

So it takes place 200 years after the events of the elder scrolls online, there is an elf sorcerer with lineage he believes might reach back to the ancient dwarves. After finding evidence, he goes to the northern regions of Skyrim. While he is up there he finds what he believes to be a dwarven soldier perfectly preserved in a glacier. this man being a sorcerer resurrects this soldier to find out what happened to him. the Soldier then kills the sorcerer and goes to a dwarven burial site where he then raises his army and starts to take over all of Tamriel.

Fast forward 30 years the entire northern part of Tamriel is taken over by the dwarven zombie army which greatly outnumbers and outguns the Imperial army. High rock, Skyrim, Morrowind, and Cyrodill are all taken over by this army. Our hero starts in Elsweyr and the game consists of your character building up various alliances and companions to start an army to take back tamriel

ESO is no cánnon I think. Plus Beth always seems to go further in the main series.

ESO is canon i am pretty sure, but it takes place in the 2nd era

While Arena-Oblivion took place in the third, and Skyrim took place in the Fourth..

meaning the Events in ESO took place long before the Main series.. as such, what the OP is suggesting would cause a litteral Riot in the Lore forums, as it would go against pre-established lore of that time period


EDIT: and doesn't his suggestion sound arguably identical to another major title?
