Questions about Multipatch

I have a couple of questions for those that use the multipatch generated by tes3cmd.

To this point, I have not been doing this, as I thought it was covering the same ground as mashed lists in Wrye. I have generated this with an without the leveled lists and noticed it patches a few summons and one cell name that has been renamed.

My first question is whether adding the multipatch is safe to do with ongoing saved games.

My second question is about the levelled lists created by this versus mashed lists in Wrye. I noticed that the list created with multipatch is much larger than what is in mashed lists. Looking at the two in EE, it appears that everything in mashed lists is in the multipatch, but that the multipatch has quite a few more item and monster leveled lists. (mashed lists only contains a few item lists and no monster lists).

Is there a consensus on which is better between the two for levelled lists? Would it be a good idea to use the leveled list from tes3cmd and drop mashed lists? (I'm assuming that they are redundant). If I do switch to the multipatch from mashed lists, is that safe for an ongoing saved game? Or should I just use multipatch without leveled lists and continue to use mashed lists and the multipatch just for the cell renaming and summon fix?
