PS3 Save Game Help

Post » Wed Dec 17, 2014 5:02 am

I put a decent amount of hours into Skyrim on PS3 when it came out, and have since sold the system. I re-bought the game on PC with the expansions and wanted to convert and load my PS3 save data and continue where I left off on PC. I already know how to do this, there's many guides online, the problem is my save file is from an older version of the game since I haven't played it on PS3 since it came out. Now, for the request, will one of you be kind enough to load my save file on PS3 if I email it to you, immediately save (thus updating the version), and email it back? That way it will be compatible for me on PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked at multiple guides online, it's possible I just need to update to the latest version of skyrim, but since I sold my PS3 I need somebody to load my save for me and it'll update it

man, you really shouldn't use your e-mail as your user name.. the countless Spam you are going to get as a result aside, its a security risk..

you would probably be best off just going over to a friends house and have them load it..

Yeah, I was not aware it was possible either.. don't the PC and PS3 version use separate save file formats?
(I knew it was possible with the 360.. but i thought the PS3 used a different file format for saves)

There are various programs that convert it for you, they all have the same root save data, just package it differently

Just because you can convert the save, doesn't mean you should do it. There are many many reasons to start a fresh character. It would be glitch free, you would get an excuse to install mods...
