Left Click Mouse Issue Help

Post » Thu Dec 18, 2014 12:00 pm

Um. Hey. I am recently having a problem with the left click on my mouse. Simply put, sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't... It's also a pain when attempting to do an action which requires me to hold it down for any period of time (such as drawing an arrow in-game or creating a selection box in a windows explorer window).

I was wondering if anyone knows what might be up and what I can do to fix this.

It's possible the switch is just worn out. The same happened to my old Logitech G300 a while back.

First thing to do it try another Mouse. As stated above, it's probably worn out. These things cost $5 (to make) so it's not like they are made to last.

I was thinking it was the switch... Though it is now working again. (Hadn't messed up in last 20 minutes or so). So whatever it was, it's "fixed" now. However, it comes up again and continues to keep having an issue. I'll probably just get a new one. The one I'm using was only like 8 dollars so isn't much to replace.

If the problem persist, or occurs at irregular intervals, then obviously the switch has a problem. (from excessive use most probably)

And if it's a cheap mouse, that would justify the cause. So, there is not much of a choice as changing your mouse.
