hi guys im wanting to use the xbox pad to play skyrim with and just wanted to know how compatible it is with the game and mods etc are there mods i should avoid if using the pad

IIRC, the 360 Controller works just fine just plug it in and choose Gamepad in the Controls section. Of course Xpadder can make anything work if you fiddle with it.

The only mods you would need to avoid are ones that require you to type, if there are any like that.

A wired 360 controller will just plug in to any USB port on your PC and be ready to use. If you want to use a wireless controller you'll have to buy an adapter, but they're pretty cheap (less than $20).
