A fan-made TES game.

Hello! I decided to start working on a fan-made game set in Tamriel. What annoys me is that while you can read about any province as much as you like, you cannot visit most of them. (ESO doesn't count)

I'm sorry to disappoint you picky i-wont-play-morrowind-because-the-graphics-svck-lol kids, but the game is made to be a top-down perspective retro-style RPG game.

While i would like to create every province fully, my schedule can't handle it. So i came up with the idea of creating islands of different provinces (ex. Stros M'kai of Hammerfell) to capture the culture.

All of these islands would have their own independent questlines and some that involve multiple ones.

The reason why i post this is because i'm interested to know if other Elder Scrolls fans would be interested in playing this game. Also, if so, i'd like to have suggestions what to add and what not to, to shape the game how the community wants.

So my dear fellow fans, start typing!

What sort of scale are we talking? TES II, or TES V? And can you elaborate a bit more on the style - top-down RPG covers a lot of areas, from roguelikes to Zelda-style hack and slash.

On the whole, I'm very interested. Fanmade games are something that I don't hear much of the TES community doing (which is understandable, since the games are so open to modding rather than creating afresh).

It's good to see anything that brings new stories to Tamriel. What time in TES history are you interested in setting it? What sort of events, places and people would you base the quests around?
