On Marriage in Skyrim...

Does anyone else feel like the marriage in Skyrim is very... lacking? Sorry if this has been talked about numerous times, but I'd like to know peoples opinions on it.

I recently started an RP Civilian file, a Khajiit women who lives in Whiterun and hunts, chops wood, smiths , gathers ingredients and goes to the Pit Fighters (Mod) every once and a while.

I had her marry Ysolda, (It was kinda to see if same six marriages worked, I'm no perv) and every time I come home its just "Hello, have this thing I baked, here is the money I made today, I have no other options for conversation, bye!"

Does anyone have any mods or anything to maybe... uhh... spice things up? (Please no 'Animated Prostitution' that's a creepy mod)

I agree with you 100%. None of my characters married anybody using the vanilla marriage system after my first playthrough. It was completely lackluster, and that's putting it lightly.

Besides some divorce mods and mods that make you marry multiple spouses, there aren't a lot of marriage mods. There is http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/657-spouses-enhanced/ one, although its core revolves around sixual affection (no advlt content though, so it's completely different from Animated Prostitution). This is probably the closest thing to a good marriage system. It looks promising though. Haven't tested it myself, so I can't vouch for it.
