Somewhere inside the city of New Harlond, Adamas- Reconciliation Day

High atop on one of the many restored skyscraqers in the city of New Harlond stood two figures cloaked in black, silhouetted against the night sky. They were completely silent and still, gazing down at the lights dancing below them.

The city was especially lively tonight, as was the rest of the nation, in observance of what Adamas called "Reconciliation Day", that is, the anniversary of the day when the former Brotherhood accepted Super Mutants as their brothers and toppled the tyranny of Attis, hand in hand. It was quite the important holiday for Adamas, often likened to the Independence Day of the Old World.

"...Sickening, isn't it?" one of the figures said in a gruff, disgusted tone and a heavy sigh.

His compatriot merely chuckled softly to himself and leaned over the edge to get a better view of the celebration below him.

"Hmm? What? The fact that all those fools consider the mutates Brothers, or that they've completely disregarded where they came from?" the second figure said, an almost-mocking tone in his voice.

The first figure broke his vigil and began to pace back and forth, seething.

"All of it. Every single thing. These people, this city, this nation. Nothing remains of the Old Ways. Just... look at it!"

"Patience Brother." the second figure said, his voice suddenly becoming grave and dark. "The Chancellor and his Sentinels, the mutants, Scorch... they will all pay. Judgement Day is nigh my Brother."

"And when it comes... all will burn."

North Pole Alaska

(OOC A Black Dynamite Christmas Carol.)

Men gathered round a Large Fir tree. Sang in unison as the star was raised to the top of the tree. It was early for Christmas celebrations but for today they made an exception. "Check them [censored] but keep them jolly, Fa la la la laaaaaa, la la la laaaa. It's Christmas so don't choke nobody, Fa la la la laaaaaa, la la la laaaa. No we don't do gay apparel No no no, no no NO, HELL no no! Uhhh......can't think of [censored] that rhymes with apparel. Fa la la la laaaaaa, la la la laaaa"

As the star was raised to the top of the tree. Muffled groans could be heard from up high. As the man in Red raised his arm signalling all to stop and be silent. "Today! We begin early celebrations for our honored day to come. TODAY! We prepare for out Festivities to come. TODAY!! We give the NAUGHTY THEIR DUE!! For you see this SLAVE! Dared oppose us. He DARED to run, DARED to mock us. And our Laws. But TODAY! He has the honor of being our shining star."

More muffled screams from atop the tree.

"Throw the switch!"

Cries and screams of great agony came as flesh burned. Seared by the electricity that ran through his body.

The man in Red turned to greet his fellow Slavers. "MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME! AND TO ALL KEEP THOSE CAGES TIGHT! HO HOHO HO!!"

"Now GET BACK TO WORK. We got [censored] to work."

2rd Border Guard Division HQ - Southern British Columbia

"Can't have them walk all over what should be our land - We can't call ourselves a Resistance if we give up our land without a fight can we?" Marshal George said, throwing a brief smile at the aide he was talking to. He strolled into the building that held the Headquarters for this section of the front, the guards by the door instantly saluting. George gave them a nod as he walked over to a large table, over which many maps and notes were laid, where the Commanding Officer stood bent over the table, examining the mess of papers that lay before him.

"Brigadier." The Marshal said, saluting.

"Marshal." The Brigadier replied, returning the salute.

"At ease" The Marshal said, he lowered his salute and the Brigadier did likewise "So, what's the situation?"

"Mostly quiet, but there was another shooting match yesterday, we chased them off though. No Casualties on our side" The Brigadier reported

The Marshal nodded, spent a few seconds staring at the maps below him "We have to sort these people out" George turned to one of his aides. "Kate, contact HQ, tell them I want 3rd Corps moved down to the border."

"Sir." The aide replied turning to leave, she stopped when another aide spoke.

"But Sir" The Marshal turned to look at him "We'll be leaving 4th Corps isolated, if the Alaskans make a move they could take a third of the country before we can properly reorganise."

The Marshal paused a second, thinking over the aide's comments "We have nothing to worry about from those Alaskan Primitives. And the east is nought but wasteland and tribals. Move the 3rd Crops down. Brigadier, I want you to double patrols along the border and send over more stealth teams to assess their military strength, see if they try match our movements, and relay these orders to the rest of the commanders along the front."

The Marshal paused to collect his thoughts.

"I hope no one was wishing for a peaceful Christmas"
